Rhetoric and hyperbole hallmarks of BJP Govt’s 9-yr tenure: Bhalla

Jammu: JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla on Tuesday continued discussing present political situation in J&K and party affairs with grass root leaders in different areas of Bahu constituency as a part of his mass contact programme. The meeting discussed current political situation, deliberations concentrated over organisational affairs of party besides the overall political situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Bhalla asked party cadre to fight anti-people and anti-youth policies of ruling BJP and defeat their divisive agenda in J&K unitedly to strengthen party. He asked leaders to concentrate in their respective areas and be amongst people to highlight their problems. He appreciated local leaders and cadre for their struggle and commitment to fight against communal and divisive forces in J&K. He exhorted party leaders and workers to get united to fight BJP’s ‘wrong and anti-people policies’, urging them to strengthen Congress, as it is Congress which has served and shall continue to serve the people.
He said that Congress is capable enough to fight against BJPs vendetta politics, it will continue to highlight the price hike, rising unemployment, lack of development, misuse of agencies against the opponents at every appropriate forum to make BJP accountable and answerable to people. He said that last highlight of Modi government is ‘media management, propaganda, platitudes and acronyms’ and asked people to bring a change in the politics. Noting that the voter of the country is very intelligent, he said, “India needs a massive political change. This change in politics is not only going to reflect in politics of today but the politics of tomorrow. People do not want to hear speeches, but want to know the Government’s employment strategy based on hard facts of last nine years.”
