RAJOURI: Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar e Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) flayed the State Government over its step motherly treatment being given to ReT teaching community and urged the aggrieved community to rush to summer capital on 28th June and participate in the protest programme.
In a statement, senior JKReTTF leader and District President Rajouri Aftab Tantray said that thousands of ReTs under SSA are facing unimaginable upheavals and hardships due to financial constraints as their more than four months of salary remains unpaid.
The families of the nation builders are at the verge of starvation while the government remains unmoved over the plight of SSA teachers.
He said that this victimisation of ReT teaching community directly affects the routine academics in educational institutions.
Tantray ridiculed the people at the helm of affairs for failing to streamline the salaries of SSA teachers, instead the authorities are creating a volatile situation where teachers are left with no option but to hit the streets and protest for their long pending monthly dues.
The District President Rajouri advised the suppressed ReT community to gear up for the protest programme on 28th June and assemble in large numbers at Press Enclave Srinagar for a sit-in as announced by the JKReTTF leadership.
