KATHUA: A meeting of All J and K ReT Teachers Forum was held on Sunday at Saheed Baghat Singh Park Kathua under the chairman ship of State President Vinod Sharma and Distt. President Mahesh Kumar. The meeting was attended by a large number of ReT teachers from all the zones of Kathua
While Speaking on the occasion, Sharma showed strong resentment against the delaying tactics of both the State and Centre Govt. for not releasing the funds under the SSA to clear several months salary of SSA teachers whose families are on verge of starvation. He said that the (SSA Teachers) are enable to provide basic amenities to their family members like books to their children and medicines to their ailing parents.
“Though the Govt. is watching and giving statements and nothing concrete as been done to release their salaries” he said adding that KGBV teacher are waiting for their regularisation but no steps have been taken for the same.
He threatened to come on roads with their family members and lock their schools if the Govt. fails to release all the pending salaries within 10 days and the Govt. would be responsible for this extreme step.
