JAMMU: JDA Employees Union expressed concern over the problems being faced by the employees at a meeting held here on Tuesday.
President JDA Employees Union, Ashok Singh Jamwal demanded that the 15 cases of appointment of beneficiaries of the officials, who died in harness under SRO 43, should be considered, release of grade to the helper who have passed eligibility test, implementation of order of Double Bench State High Court of J and K regarding the proper demolition and vacation of State land transferred to JDA which is not properly implemented as per the direction issued by the High Court; Safe guarding newly carved out colonies such as Gole Gujral, Birpur, Roop Nagar and Kot Bhalwal, redressal of the demand of the general public, who have deposited their premium for allotment of plots, needs to hand over the possession, re-organisation in all JDA cadres as the area of Master Plan 2032 is extended upto 305 Revenue villages, repatriate of revenue/ engineering wing over stayed officials/ officers deputed to JDA by more than two years period and stopping of re-employment of retired revenue Patwari and Girdwars, who are appointed without sanction posts, etc.
President JDA Employee Union gave eight days ultimatum to the authorities concerned to redress the issues of employee failing which the employees will stage Dharna in the premises of Vikas Bhawan.
