Renaming of Hari Parbat; Shiv Sena threatens state-wide agitation

JAMMU: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) on Tuesday lambasted ruling PDP – BJP coalition for changing the name of Hari Parbat to Koh-e-Maran and threatens state wide agitation against this act claiming that it has hurt the sentiments of Hindu community worldwide.
In a meeting with all state and block leaders at Jammu, State President of Shiv Sena Dimpy Kohli along with Sandeep Bhagat, Rajan Gupta, Narinder Dev Chunni, Raj Singh, M.M Nagotra criticised Jammu and Kashmir Tourism department for naming the famous Hari Parbat hill as ‘Koh-e-Maran’ in their advertisement for Kashmir Fort festival.
Alleging a conspiracy behind this incident, Dimpy demanded a probe in the matter. He said that state government is working towards Islamisation of Jammu and Kashmir with the help of BJP which has surrendered its principles for lust of power. He warned that Shiv Sena will not allow anyone to change the names of Hindus shrines. He demanded that people responsible for this must apologize publically.
