POONCH: A two days long religious function was organised in the historical Temple of Lohar Devta on 3rd May, 2015 with the commencement of Ramayan Path under the chairmanship of Advocate Rajinder Singh. Prominent among those who were present on this occasion include Commander 6 Sector Romeo Force, Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade, SSP Poonch, SDPO Mendhar, Shamboo Nath Khajuria, Advocate Mohd Zaman, Rajinder Singh Retd Sports Officer, Retd Principal Degree College Poonch Girdhari Lal Sharma, Shammi Bali, Sanjeev Kumar and Sarpanch Nazir Ahd.
With the completion of Path the Havan was performed and after Puran Ahuti Bhajan Kirtan session started. According to the faith of the devotees number of Mundans of small children were also performed at this ages old temple, said to have been constructed by the Pandavas. A Vishal Langar was also served to the devotees belonging to all walks of life who reached on this occasion from different places.
