Release salary of KP employees from Valley: Ambardar

JAMMU: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar urged Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh and Financial Commissioner B.B Vyas and stressed on the need to release the salaries of all the employees including KP employees who are posted in Kashmir Valley or have gone there for employment but had to return to Jammu due to prevailing unrest there.
Ambardar discussed the current situation in Valley with Nirmal Singh due to which KP employees had to flee to Jammu and are sitting on protest for the last 20 days. MLC stressed on the release of the salaries of all the employees so that they don’t face any further hardships since they can’t join their duties under such prevailing conditions.
He apprised Deputy Chief Minister about the various meetings of the committee constituted by BJP with the protesting employees and further added that the report is being made.
Ambardar also spoke to Financial Commissioner B.B Vyas who is also holding the additional charge of Relief and Rehabilitation department and urged him to get the salaries credited to the accounts of the aforesaid employees.
Ambardar also spoke to incumbent Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner R.K Pandita and urged him to make the necessary arrangements with regards to budgetary provisions for releasing the salary of KP employees.
