RAJOURI: Regional Director Survey and Land Record Pir Panjal, Shokat Hussain Kazmi stressed upon the revenue officers/officials to work with more zeal and dedication particularly for timely updation of the basic records of settlement.
Chairing meeting of revenue officers, Regional Director reviewed the present status of scanning of revenue record, updation of Jamabandi and settlement process.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rajouri, Abdul Qayoom Mir, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Patwaris were participated in the meeting.
Regional Director made it clear that he will be visiting every Niabat of Pir Panjal Region for on spot inspection of the revenue record.
Regional Director directed Tehsildar Rajouri to ensure close monitoring of the quality/authentication of documents being scanned by the service provider. He also extended full support to the Tehsildar Rajouri so that the process of scanning of revenue documents be completed in due time.
Regional Director gave an assurance to the Tehsildars and other field staff that he will make all possible efforts in resolving the issues/problems put forth by them.
While welcoming Kazmi on his posting as Regional Director Survey and Land Record Pir Panjal Region, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rajouri assured that he and his team of revenue officers/officials will work with dedication for smooth conduct of settlement process in the district and other related assignments.
Earlier, progress of officers with respect to updation of revenue record including Jamabandi of 2014-18, preliminary verification of changes in Record of Rights, etc. was reviewed individually.
