Refugees take out Tiranga Yatra, remember freedom fighters

JAMMU: To maintain national unity by thwarting the forces which were working against unity and harmony in the country, displaced persons of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) on Thursday took out Tiranga Yatra.
The Tiranga Yatra, in memory of the Martyrs who fought for liberation of India from the yokes of Britishers who ruled India for centuries, was led by Executive Committee of the PoJK DP’s Front headed by its President Rachhpal Singh Chib.
The Yatra was taken out from Maharaja Hari Singh Park which after passing through Dogra Chowk, Jewel Chowk, bus stand finally culminated at Mehashpura Chowk where participants paid tributes to Subash Chander Bose, Bhagat Singh, Sardar Patel, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Chander Shekhar Azad, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and thousands of unsung heroes who sacrificed their lives for nation.
