Red Cross organises medical camp

JAMMU: To carry forward humanitarian services and to provide proper health check-up to the needy people of far flung areas, Indian Red Cross Society, Region Jammu, organised a medical check-up camp at Village Dori Dagair Block Khara here on Friday. The camp was organised under the supervision of Honorary Secretary, R.C Puri.

During the camp, more than 200 patients of different ailments like general ailments, anemia, eye and dental problems, were examined.

The team of doctors, who rendered their services namely Dr. Rohini Bhan, Medical Officer Red Cross Dispensary, Dr. Priyanka Parihar BDS, Mukhtar Hussain, Mudasir Bashir, Interns which were assisted by Kuldeep Bhat, Sr. Ophthalmic Assistant, Sohan Lal Pharmacist and Sangita Devi FMPHW. Free medicines were also provided to the needy patients.

Among those who were present during the camp included Madan Lal Sharma former Chairman, Village Dhori Dagair and Mangat Ram Sharma.
