Bhalla said that the employees of different categories including teachers, daily wagers, casual and need-based workers and other such categories of people are regularly seen on protests for their just and genuine demands.
“This kind of situation has disappointed every common man who are already facing the brunt of ‘Achhe Din’ promise of Modi government, as the prices of all essential commodities and items of daily use have increased manifold,” he said adding that that the incumbent Govt has miserably failed to address people’s issues particularly the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that thousands of posts in Govt Departments of J&K are lying vacant since long and even the health centres and schools are without adequate staff. Accusing the BJP of being least bothered about filling the said posts, he said that this stands proved by the existing scenario throughout J&K where the problems of general public have increased manifold today. Bhalla said summer has just begun and already the people are facing dearth of potable water and electricity with no answers coming from the people sitting at the helm and despite out-of-proportion hikes in bills. “The healthcare edifice is also in shambles with the shortage of medicos in each healthcare facility without any exception, showing indifference of those manning these institutions”, Bhalla said, adding that people should make up their mind to oust the incompetent dispensation both from J&K and the Centre and give a chance to Congress to once again steer J&K and fulfill the aspirations of the people.
Bhalla asked the people to strengthen hands of Congress to once again install a government that is people-centric and considerate towards the problems of the common man.
Former DyCM Tara Chand today continued campaign in favour of Raman Bhalla and appealed people of Akhnoor and Chhamb constituencies to whole heartedly vote and support Bhalla for the development of constituency which was severely hit under BJP Govt in presence of Congress contesting candidate Bhalla.
Appealing people to cast their vote in favour of Bhalla for strengthening the secular character of the Country and to speed up the development in the state, Tara Chand recalled the unprecedented development witnessed by the state during the tenure of Congress Govt.
