RCC wins by 7 wkts in CM’s Cup

JAMMU: Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) on Sunday made it a fine seven wickets victory against Krishna Cricket Club (KCC) to advance in the ongoing First Chief Minister’s Cup at Country Cricket Club, Gharota, near here.
Batting first, KCC was bowled out for 130 runs in 29.3 overs of the 50 overs a side game. Chandan played innings of 64 runs, followed by Rohit, who made 12 runs. No other batsman could touch the double figure mark. For RCC, Nitin was most successful bowler with four wickets while Dilbag and Praful took three and two respectively.
In reply, RCC attained the goal of 131 runs in 21.1 overs losing two wickets in the process. Opener, Puneet made 39 runs while middle order batsman, Dimple played brilliant innings of 47 runs to guide their side to a comfortable win. Sunny, Pankaj and Pardeep shared the wickets for KCC.
For his four wickets haul, Nitin was adjudged Man of the Match.
