Rath Yatra of Dharam Jagran to conclude on June 26

JAMMU: The ongoing ‘Awakening Rath Yatra of Kul Devi-Devtas of Dogras’ organised by Dharam Jagran Samanvay Vibhag Jammu and Kashmir which was commenced on 10th April after travelling in other parts of the State entered into Jammu on 12th June, will be conclude on 26th June.
This was disclosed by Vibhag’s Jammu-Kashmir Chief Rakesh Kumar while addressing a press conference here on Friday.
On the concluding day, he said, a grand function will be organized at Ram Lila Ground in Sainik Colony at 6:00 PM. On the occasion, the Kul Devtas of Dogra including Kali Veer and Raja Mandlik will be worshipped in the presence of large number of devotees.
The function, he informed, will be graced by Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma as Chief Guest and Advocate Sudershan Sharma Guest of Honour. Major General Shamsher Singh Jamwal besides other dignitaries including National Vice President of Dharam Jagran Sharad Dole and Regional Head Rakesh Kumar will also present.
The main motive behind conducting the Rath Yatra, he said, was to aware the people about their Kul Devtas, aware Hindus about their decreasing population in the country, aware them about the bad effects of love Jehad, to end discrimination of other religions from the society, conversion of Hindus to other religions and the drug addiction from our society and to spread the message to worship the cow.
He appealed to the people to attend the main function on the concluding day and get the blessing of the Devtas to get peace and prosperity in their life and State.
