REASI: To give an impetus to village level sports and also to encourage girl child to participate in sports and games, a week-long Sports Fest was inaugurated at Agsi in the remote areas of Pir Panjal Ranges by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga under the aegis of Force Headquarter based at Reasi.
Speaking on the occasion, the army officials said that such sports meet will help in identifying the hidden talent of the youth.
In all, 26 cricket and nine volleyball teams from Bagga, Sarh, Budhal, Mahore and Kotranka are participating in the sports meet organised jointly by civil administration and the battalion.
