AKHNOOR: A rashly driven car on Wednesday killed a pedestrian and leaving other seriously injured at Akhnoor.
According to a report, a rashly driven Maruti Swift (JK02AK /0852) on way from Akhnoor to Bale-da-Bagh hit one Motorcycle (4853 /Jko2x) and two pedestrian namely Balwan Singh son of Om Parkash resident of Patyadi and Surinder Singh son of Mela Ram resident of Patyadi Balle-da-Bagh resulting in Balwan Singh died on the spot while Surinder Singh got serious injuries and shifted to GMC Jammu. The body of Balwan Singh has been kept in the mortuary at SDH Akhnoor for postmortem. The motorcycle caught fire and burned completely in accident impact.
A case has been registered in Police Station Akhnoor.
