RAMBAN: A deputation of the prominent citizens along with the Naib- Tehsildar, Batote, Saifullah Shah on Thursday met SHO, Batote, Vijay Singh Choudhary and expressed concern on the growing prevalence of the deaths due to drugs in Batote Tehsil.
The prominent citizens including the Beopar Mandal President, Sanjay Gupta, Restaurant cum Dhaba Association, President, Ghulam Haidar,Ex Chairman, Municipality Committee, Batote, Ravinder Singh ,National Conference leaders Abid Magray and Babar Malik,Congress leader,Arif Salaria,PDP leaders Muti ul Rasool Sheikh Amin and Shakeel Ahmed Bhat were the part of the delegation. They asked SHO to redouble his efforts to eradicate drug menace. They also suggested him various measures to curb it. Inspector, Vijay assured them that their all suggestions were noted and he would leave no stone unturned to eradicate the menace.
