RAJOURI: Civil society of Rajouri including political representatives of all political outfits have backed the demand highlighted by Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali who pitched for opening of IIM and IIT at Rajouri.
In this regard a joint press conference was organised by Civil Society members of Rajouri which was addressed by Beopar Mandal President and Congress Leader Rajesh Bittu Shah, District Secretary PDP Syed Manzoor Bukhari, Provincial Secretary Youth National Conference Mohammad Sayeed Jatt, Senior BJP leader and Sarpanch Khalil Ahmed, Sarpanch Nagrota Chowdhary Shabir Ahmed, Sarpanch Palam Haji Alam Din, Zulfkar Ahmed Zarri, Syed Zulfikar Ayoub Kazmi and Zahoor Bhatti.
All the members of the civil society appreciated Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali for raising the issue of IIM and IIT and termed him bold and visionary leader of Pir Panjal area. They said that Zulfkar Chowdhary is the voice of people of this region and he had pitched for important issue of public concern.
On the occasion, Beopar Mandal President and Congress Leader Rajesh Bittu Shah said that IIM and IIT is need of the Rajouri-Poonch and these institutions will provide due relief to the area. He said that the visionary idea given by Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali must be conceded as this demand is for the overall development of the people.
Backing Minister, District Secretary of PDP Syed Manzoor Bukhari said that Zulfkar Ali pitching for IIM and IIT for Rajouri is bold initiative of the minister and whole the community of Rajouri Poonch is supporting this cause.
Meanwhile Provincial Secretary Youth National Conference Mohammad Sayeed Jatt, , BJP leader Khalil Ahmed also hailed the minister.
