RAJOURI: District Administration, Rajouri notified schedule of holding 29 public service delivery camps for providing varied services to people at their doorsteps.
The camps are being held in different villages for effective implementation of Public Service Guarantee Act.
Deputy Commissioner, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary informed that Asstt Commissioner Revenue, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Block Medical Officers will hold 25 camps which will also be attended by field officials from other departments. He called upon the concerned departments to go for wide publicity to enable the people to avail maximum benefits under this outreach programme.
It is pertinent to mention here that district administration initiated a broad-based outreach programme in June 2017 for service delivery in remote areas under which more than 210 camps have been organised so far and a record number of 62,500 vital certificates provided to people on the spot. More than 32,000 PRCs have been issued to people at various camps and offices.
Documents including Permanent Resident Certificates, Caste, Residents of Backward Area, Income Certificates, Married/Unmarried, Disability, Health certificates apart from inheritance mutation, revenue extracts, medical certificates and other services are provided in these camps. Public grievances related to essential services are also taken up for resolution.
The administration is going to hold 25 camps in November five headed by Asstt Commissioner Revenue on November 13, 16, 18, 21 and 29 at Dhara Sanwla, Ujhan, Bagla, Kakora and Rajdhani respectively; four camps headed by SDM Koteranka on November 11, 18, 25, 29 November at Dandote, Hubbi, Tralla and Narla; 4 camps by SDM Thanamandi on November 16 and 29 at Hasyote and Dodasan Pain; four camps by SDM Sunderbani at Hathal, Bajabain, Channi and Una respectively on 7, 16, 21 and 28 November. SDM Nowshera will hold four camps on November 7, 9, 14 and 24 at Sangpur, Lamberi, Androoth, Dandesar and Lam-Pukherni.
The Deputy Commissioner will hold four public grievance redressal camps in Sunderbani, Rajouri, Thanamadi and Koteranka sub-divisions during the month for review of developmental works and redressal of public grievances.
Arrangements for holding the camps were reviewed by the senior officers of district administration for effective and smooth service delivery. District Administration has appealed to general public and all stakeholders for maximum participation in these camps.
