Visits residence, inquires well-being of family

JAMMU: BJP National General Secretary and Incharge Jammu Kashmir Party Affairs, Tarun Chugh on Sunday visited the residence of senior BJP leader late Rajesh Gupta where he met his wife Vice President State Mahila Morcha Anu Gupta and other family members and condoled the demise of Rajesh Gupta.
Chugh said that Rajesh Gupta was a hardworking and honest worker of the party and said that he was popular among the people.
On the strength of his hard work, Rajesh Gupta was able to travel from Councilor to MLA, Tarun Chigh said adding that Rajesh Gupta left us very soon. Talking to the media, Chugh said that Rajesh Gupta was a senior leader of the party, an honest worker and rich in easy and simple personality. He was an inspirational personality to the local party workers who was elected as a Corporator and MLA from Jammu East Assembly seat in 2014. Chugh said that Rajesh Gupta was his very good friend and used to discuss positively on the issues of the party from time to time. His death has caused a great loss to the party at the local level which can never be made good, he added.
Chugh also shared some memories. On this occasion BJP State General Secretary Sunil Sharma and senior leader Devender Rana along with many workers were also present.
