JAMMU: In consultation with President, Tariq Hameed Kara, General Secretary of the J and K Amateur Boxing Association, Rajan Sharma on Thursday constituted the body nominating members to different committees and official positions.
While Dr Ashutosh Sharma was made Working President, outgoing General Secretary, Dr Nirmolak Singh has been given the post of Senior Vice President. Rahul Mahajan (Jammu) and G.R Beig (Kashmir) were nominated to the posts of Vice Presidents of the Boxing Association.
The post of Treasurer has been given to Anil Khajuria while Vinay Gupta (Jammu) and Sheikh Salman (Kashmir) were made Joint Secretaries. Vinod Bhatia (Jammu) and Farooq Ahmed (Kashmir) have been nominated to the post of Joint Secretaries.
In the meantime, Boxing Coach of the J and K State Sports Council, Mushaq Ahmed, presently posted at Poonch, has been made Chairman of the Technical Committee. Other Members of the Committee included Anil Wadehra, Gulam Mustafa and Sajeev Gupta.
Executive Members: RS Manhas, Arun Kotwal, Gulam Mustafa, Amrik Singh, Tajinder Singh, Ravinder Singh, Vikas Gupta, Sanjeev Gupta, Dr Gurmeet Kour and Sheikh.
