Raina HSS celebrates 39th annual day

JAMMU: Raina Higher Secondary School Paloura celebrated 39th Annual Day cum Prize Distribution function.
Chairman J and K Board of School Education, Dr. Nutan K. Rasutra was the Chief Guest in the function which was presided over by President, Private School Association, Kamal Gupta.
Dr. Rasutra inaugurated the function by lighting traditional lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana presented by students.
Welcome address was presented by Managing Director of the School, B.D Raina.
The children presented a colourful cultural programme which included patriotic, group songs, Radha Krishan dance, Dogri, Kashmiri, Bhojpuri, Haryanvi, break dance, Rassleela, and solo items.
Dr. Nutan and Kamal Gupta and Principal Government Higher Secondary School Sarwal, Bishan Singh distributed prizes among the meritorious students.
In his address, the Chief Guest appreciated the performance of the school and also appreciated for the performance of the children who participated in various cultural programmes.
He advised the teachers to work hard and give student better education with love and affection.
He also advised the students to come up to the expectation of their teachers and parents.
Kamal Gupta appreciated the performance of the school in as far as school produced good number of brilliant students over the years.
He said that norms of the recognition and affiliation of the Private School should be liberalised so that education reaches the door steps of the poor and neglected people.
Bishan Singh threw light on the duties of the management, staff, parents and students towards the quality education.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ravind Raina.
