SAMBA: People of village Raghu Chack staged a protest against the setting up of crusher in their village.
A large number of men, women and children assembled at village Raghu Chack and raised slogans against district administration and concerned department for setting up of crusher in their village. They also blocked Gahgwal Rajpura Road and disrupted vehicular movement.
They alleged that crusher set up in the village is just 50 meter away from the residential areas which may affect health of the residents as well as affect the crop. They warned concerned department and district administration to immediately stop the construction work of the crusher. Those present in the protest include Jasvir Singh, Jagdish Singh, Dharam Singh, Neelam Devi and Satya Devi.
