Rachpal slams PDP-BJP for stalling development

KALAKOTE: Vowing that National Conference will bounce back with its full might to safeguard the interests of people, State Secretary and former MLA Kalakote Th Rachpal Singh has slammed the PDP-BJP dispensation for failures on all fronts.
“The coalition has ditched the people, especially those of remote areas”, Singh said while addressing a huge public meeting here after winding up his two-day tour of the Kalakote Assembly Constituency.
Th Rachpal Singh said that failure on governance front during its 22-month misrule is scaring PDP-BJP combine to face the people, as they have plunged the entire state into unprecedented political instability with development coming to abrupt halt. He said that acute scarcity of drinking water, frequent power cuts, dilapidated roads, sub-standard and inadequate rations at the sale outlets have been main sources of irritation to the people. “The people were realising now their mistake of supporting a combination which is inexperienced and naïve that has impacted the overall functioning of the administration”, he added.
The State Secretary cautioned the coalition not to test the patience of people by pushing development to backburner and ignoring their legitimate aspirations. “Instead of concentrating on development, the responsible functionaries of the present dispensation were indulging in omissions and commission that has exposed them before the people”, he said and slammed the coalition partners for their insensitivity towards problems of people.
Th Rachpal Singh urged the party cadre to get prepared for meeting the challenge posed by the anti-people policies of the coalition government and said National Conference will perform its legitimate role as a main opposition to safeguard the public interest.
