JAMMU: Nestled in the grandeur of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp 2024, the Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh (JK&L) Directorate stands as a beacon of dedication and excellence.
Comprising 122 cadets, including 47 from the Senior Wing (SW) and 75 from the Senior Division (SD), JK&L Directorate has not just participated but carved a distinctive niche in this camp.
As the curtains rise on their journey, each cadet embodies the spirit of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, contributing to the vibrant mosaic of diversity.
The Directorate’s journey at the ongoing RDC 2024 is marked by notable achievements across various fronts, symbolising their unwavering commitment to the core values of the NCC.

The JK&L Directorate proudly secured 08 slots in the prestigious Guard of Honour, a testament to the precision, discipline, and dedication exhibited by the cadets. Two out of three Senior Wing (SW) cadets and six out of nine Senior Division (SD) cadets earned this noteworthy recognition, standing tall as guardians of honour at the camp.
Out of the 21 Senior Wing cadets, an impressive 13 were selected for Kartavya Path, exemplifying their unending commitment towards drill and discipline.
This achievement not only showcases their dedication but also underscores the directorate’s emphasis on cultivating a sense of duty and responsibility.
The celebratory note was set by a soulful group dance, featuring the captivating “Shiv Tandav.” Graciously performed by 20 cadets (16 SW, 4 SD), this presentation earned warm commendations from DG NCC, highlighting the dedication and artistic flair of JK&L Directorate cadets.
A harmonious symphony unfolded as JK&L Directorate presented a resonant group song, delicately capturing the essence of the occasion.

A grand spectacle unfolded with the ballet performance, featuring an innovative UV light presentation. Thirty-five cadets contributed to this stunning visual display, offering a glimpse into the directorate’s creative ingenuity. The unique factor of the performance added a “wow” factor to the overall display of skills and creativity.
In the line area competition, both Senior Wing and Senior Division cadets from JK&L Directorate showcased their best efforts, emphasizing creativity and precision. The intricate details, vibrant colors, and symbolic representations underscored the directorate’s commitment to excellence.
