JAMMU: This Sunday was dedicated to the Quiz Competition at Display Your Talent-2016-17, organised by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, here. Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Satnam Kour congratulated and felicitated the winners of the event.
Dr. Anil Gupta was the Quiz Master. In the event, 30 teams participated and the teams which qualified for finals were from GCW Gandhi Nagar, The Business School, JU, GDC Samba, Department of Political Science, JU and Department of Geography, JU.
In finals, the team consisting of Sayeda Fakhara, Tania Sharma and Garima Jasrotia from Department of Geography, JU stood first, the team of Anshu Sharma, Shaheen Karim and Alaknanda Mahajan from GCW Gandhi Nagar stood second and Sushant Singh, Rahul Kumar and Saurav Kumar from Department of Political Science, JU secured third position.
The event was coordinated by Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor) and Ifra Kak (Cultural Officer). Kirti, Radhika, Anjali, Sonakshi and Hempreet did the Hall Management.
