JAMMU: “To grow & thrive, we must let go of what holds us back. Embrace change & new beginning with an open heart”. With these powerful lines, Naitik from Grade IX B set the ball in motion during the morning assembly at JK Public School Kunjwani.
Reflecting on the topic further, another debater from the class Prisha stated, “Meditation is a means to a still and clear mind. With a clear mind, you can actually create more flexibility and enhanced capacity to let go”.
“When you practice releasing, surrendering and letting go of the things that no longer serve you, you become stronger. Grow your trust and faith in universe and it will deliver everything that you need to make you into the person that you wish to become”, she added.
Saksham pitched in to add more substance to the discussion on the topic and reflected, “Work is a reflection of who we are but it isn’t all we are. Over-identifying with a position makes it harder to let go. Work is personal but it’s not meant to limit you”. “Seeking and expressing positive emotions is another way we can let go. It opens us to greater possibilities, new knowledge, skills and new connections with others”, added further by Naitik.
“In our journey through life, we often hold onto things that no longer serve us – whether they be past grievances, outdated goals, or fears of the unknown. These attachments can weigh us down and stifle our potential”, Trinabh summed up.
Reflecting on the topic Principal, JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore stated, “We must embrace the art of letting go to thrive truly. This doesn’t mean through forgetting our past or disregarding our experiences; rather, it involves acknowledging them and releasing their grip on our present and future. By doing so, we create space for new opportunities and fresh perspectives”. “Growth requires change and adaptability. When we relinquish control over the things, we cannot change, we open ourselves to new possibilities and personal development. It’s in this process of letting go that we often find the freedom to pursue our true passions and unlock our full potential”, he added. “So, let go of the burdens that hold you back. Let go of the limits you have placed on yourself. In doing so, you make room for growth, for learning, and for the extraordinary life that awaits you. Embrace the journey, and allow yourself to grow”, he concluded.
