21 boxes of illegal liquor seized: Inter-state bootlegger arrested

District Police Udhampur today arrested one inter state bootlegger and recovered huge quantity of illicit liquor from him.
Ramnagar Police team led by SHO during routine naka near bus stand Ramnagar intercepted one vehicle (Ciaz Car) CH01CC 8684. On checking, huge quantity of illicit liquor 21 boxes (298 bottles of 750ml each) were recovered from the said vehicle and one inter-state bottlegger (driver) namely Mane Gopal Dada Bha son of Dada Bhau Mane resident of Pine at present Chandigarh has been arrested on spot.
In this regard, FIR 64/2025 u/s 48 (a)Excise Act stands registered in Police Station Ramnagar and investigation taken up.
