JAMMU: All J and K Passengers’ Welfare Association (PWA) hailed Sunil Sharma, Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) for holding people friendly Darbar in which he heard the problems of the individuals as well as the delegation for mitigation of their problems especially related to passengers fraternity.
In a press statement, R.C Sharma, President AJKPWA has appreciated the personal efforts of Sunil Sharma for taking measures to minimize the chances of accidents and stressed on to save the precious lives of the passengers. He said that minister is keen to work for the welfare of the passengers and stressed upon to provide hassle free transportation service to the passengers. Mentioning about the problems being faced passengers, he urged upon the minister to call a meeting of the stakeholders including Traffic Police, transporters and other transport related departments in the public transport to know their problems. He requested the minister to immediately call the meeting to give a solution to the long pending demands.
