‘Provide adequate security for Amarnath, Kheer Bhawani Yatras’

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Taking strong exception to the dictate of Geelani on the duration of Amarnath Yatra, Kashmir Pandit Conference (KPC) warned the separatist leader to desist from interference in the religious affairs of Hindu community.
KPC President, Kundan Kashmiri, in a statement issued here on Monday, questioned the veracity and authority of the statement demanding restructuring the historical religious event involving sentiments of crores of devotees belonging to Hinduism besides others visiting the Cave Shrine for Darshan of Holy Shiv-lingam since ages. He said that dictates of Geelani are totally unacceptable as it has become habit of Geelani and his stooges to fuel the controversy every year before the start of this Yatra in order to create sense of discomfort to perform this pious Yatra in Kashmir Valley.
Hitting hard on the State Coalition Government for their soft approach to curb the militancy, KPC Chief said that separatists sponsored by the Pakistan and ISI are raking anti-national feelings in India under well planned criminal conspiracy to create communal trouble and unrest every year exactly on the onset of Yatra.
Condemning the Pakistan’s interference on the issue of Resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley, KPC President demanded stern action against Pakistan in a manner so that the country never dares to repeat interfering in the internal affairs of India.
KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri further demanded that, in view of militancy as well as tension over rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley, a fool proof security cover is needed for KPs to conduct their Yatra at Kheer Bhawani, Tulmulla and other half dozen of Yatra places in the Valley on Zestha Ashtami Festival falling on 26th May, 2015.
The meeting was attended by various KPC activists including R.L Raina, S.L Zutshi, Susheel Bhat, Ashok Raina, P.K Mattoo, Surinder Bhat and Ajay Koul.
