MENDHAR: The residents of village Golad, Tehsil Mendhar on Saturday expressed their strong resentment against non-receipt of ration for the last two months.
They said that the dealer Mohd Usman who is required to open the store and observe the laid down timings, does not convey to the consumers the reason for non-issuance of ration for the last two months.
The STATE TIMES when spoke to Tehsil Supply Officer Mendhar, said that the ration for the month of February, 2016 would be issued on the issue of new ration cards while ration for January, 2016 has been issued and the ration against the quota of flood victims and Antyodaya Anna yojna (AAY) have also been released and will be available at the retail stores by Monday.
The residents of village Golad including Ashok Kumar, Kamal Kapoor, Sham Sunder, Amrit Bakshi, Harjeet Singh, Sonu Sharma, Rajiv Sharma and Gulshan Datta requested TSO Mendher to ask the dealer Mohd Usman to issue ration to the consumers out of the quota already received by him.
