UDHAMPUR: A protest was held in Tikri on Wednesday against the poor network of BSNL.
Block President JKNPP Surjeet Singh Jamwal while speaking on the occasion criticised the authorities of not doing justice with the subscribers of largest organisation. He said that hefty bill is being paid by the subscribers but so for the network is concerned it is worst ever in the State.
Protesters also threatened that if the service is not improved within two days then they will mobilise the general public to switch over to other companies whose network is much better than the BSNL. They also burnt the effigy of General Manager of BSNL showing their resentment against the authority.
Raj Dev, Sham Singh, Sunil Baigra, Raghubir Singh, Davinder Singh and Rashiv Jamwal also joined protest.
