Property of terror-OGW being seized

SRINAGAR: For the first time in over two-and- half decade terrorism in Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Government is reported to have act decisively against terror-harbourers in terms of forfeiting their properties for sheltering terrorists.
Sources told STATE TIMES that acting tough against a house owner of Arwani village of Annantnag district for providing safe haven to terrorists, who later engaged the security forces-army and the local police-in a fierce gun battle for two days, the coalition government has in principle decided to forfeit his property.
The house-owner, reported to be Over Ground Worker or OGW has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai, resident of Hassanpora Arwani.
The terrorists were cordoned in the house on a specified inputs received by the police.
In the encounter, two bodies believed to be of top terrorists were recovered and the police has decided to carry out DNA test to ascertain the identity of ultras.
