Prof Malik nominated as member BoS in Urdu of Pak University

JAMMU: Head of the Department of Urdu and Director Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu, Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik has been nominated as member Board of Studies in Urdu of Faisalabad University of Pakistan.
The decision was conveyed to Prof. Malik telephonically by Head of the Department of Urdu Faisalabad University Prof. Asif which says “Prof. Shohab HoD Urdu of Jammu University, you have been appointed a member of Board of Studies in Urdu by the Vice Chancellor of Faisalabad University Pakistan, you will also act as external expert of the Ph.D thesis of our university.” Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik is a prolific writer of Urdu who has authored more than one dozens books.
He is the General Secretary of the All India Urdu University Teachers association. He is also
Associated with various universities of the country, Prof Malik is also the member of Board of Studies in Urdu of Punjab University Chandigarh, Kashmir University Srinagar and Choudhary Charan Singh University Meerut.
As editor-in-chief of Research Journal ‘TASASUL’, Prof Malik has edited several special issues and now his book titled “Urdu Language and Literature in Chenab Valley” is under publication and will be released very soon.
Various literary and cultural organizations congratulated Prof. Malik for becoming the member of Board of Studies in Urdu of Faisalabad University of Pakistan.
