JAMMU: Former Minister, Ab Gani Vakil has demanded a high level judicial probe into the allegations of present MLA and Ex-Minister on sale of sub-standard juice manufactured and marketed by state owned Horticulture Produce and Marketing Corporation (HPMC) keeping in view the reports of about 3,000 infant deaths reported at G B Panth Hospital Srinagar few years back.

Saying that this poisonous juice could be consumed by the women feeding
their children and as well as children, Vakil said the sale of this poisonous juice could be a reason for infant deaths reported few years back.

state owned HPMC and reopen the cases of investigation of the infant deaths and purchase of substandard drugs by state owned Medical Supplies Corporation closed mysteriously by the previous NC-Congress Coalition Government.
