The Indian Education sector has undergone a paradigm shift and is still in the process of restructuring with an aim to create a whole person in the whole world. It is evolving in nature. The onus to make pedagogical practices more holistic, inquiry-driven, discovery-oriented, learner-centred and enjoyable, lie on the shoulders of the education fraternity.
With an aim to empower the staff of JK Public School, Kunjwani, a capacity building programme was organised for the teachers of senior wing on the Topic – The Evolving Landscape of Future Ready Students on 17th September, 2024.
The resource person of the workshop was Mr Rajesh Rathore, Principal JKPS Kunjwani. In his address, he emphasised that as technology transforms our world, education system must evolve to equip students with skills like creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability. Thus, redefining education is essential to meet the demands of a globalised economy and the digital age.
The workshop focused on challenges faced by today’s students and importance of 5C’s of 21st century skills. Teachers were equipped with the techniques on the development of future ready skills like adaptability, collaboration, critical thinking, creative thinking and communications. Certain problem solving strategies like brainstorming, teamwork, critical evaluation and effective communication were also discussed.
Some classroom real life experiences and strategies were highlighted by Munish Gupta PGT Economics.
The event concluded with the Vote of thanks by Arti Tikoo PGT English. The session was a profound reminder of the vital role that educators play in shaping the future.
