Primary Wing of JK Public School Kunjwani celebrates Martyrs’ Day

JAMMU: Mahatama Gandhi was assassinated on 30th January, 1948. This day is observed as the Martyrs’ Day in India. On Martyrs’ Day we pay homage to the brave individuals who fought for the freedom of India and sacrificed their lives.
The Primary Wing of JK Public School, Kunjwani commemorated this day by organising a special assembly. The programme commenced with a speech by a student of Class V, emphasising the courage of soldiers and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The students of Class V enacted as famous freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev while paying tributes to them.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani, S.K Singh encouraged the students by giving a motivational speech. He highlighted the importance of loving
one’s country and having a feeling of patriotism among all students.
