NOWSHERA: Press Club of Nowshera on Thursday honoured the Commanding Officer (CO) of Jhangar Battalion for his efforts to make people of the border area self sufficient. The club also honoured the media persons for their good coverage, particularly the Jhangar Function. Additional SP Nowshera Dr Parshotam Lal was also present.
The function was organized in Dak Bungalow Nowshera in which in which the Chairman of Press Club Dr Bhuvaneshwar Sharma said that Col Dependra Singh, CO of the battalion has done commendable job in border village Lam by providing the villagers the required assistance to make women and unemployed youth self dependents.
Other media persons present on the occasion include Vinod sharma, Romesh Kesar, Raj Kumar, Adv Ashwani Sharma and Hiteshwar Mahajan.
