JAMMU: J P Singh Retd IPS, along with Manjit Singh, Balvinder Vice President DGPC Jammu, T P Singh, Rajinder Singh Sudan, Janak Singh, Jatinder Singh Ex Vice Chairman Cantonment Board, while addressing the press conference highlighted the upcoming inauguration of Sant Bhai Khushal Singh Gurmat Vidyalya & Khoj Khendra (Educational Research Centre) at Marh Bagh on December 9.
The Gurmat Vidyalya (Centre) has been constructed with the hostel facilities in a big chunk of land with wonderful surroundings of natural habitat.
The Gurmat Vidyalya Educational Research Centre aims to provide free CBSE education along with religious studies, especially the Knowledge of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, to underprivileged children in 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th grades in the school run and managed by Sant Puta Danna Charitable Trust at Domana.
The aim of the research center is to produce eminent scholars and researchers of Sikh ideology which focuses on humanity & oneness of mankind.
The knowledge and study will be provided by learned Parcharaks, historians, and renowned religious personalities.
Distinguished guests, including Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami President Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandak Committee Amritsar (SGPC) and Rajinder Singh Mehta Gen Secretary SGPC Amritsar will grace the inaugural function. The event signifies a significant step towards empowering young minds with quality education and spiritual guidance.
SGSD charitable trust urges upon civil society of JKUT and community members to attend the inaugural ceremony on 9th December from 11.30 AM to 3 PM to make the event a grand success and to witness the event where Gurmat Centre will be dedicated to the Community. Guru Ka langar shall be served there.
