Preserve heritage of Sanskrit: Sat

JAMMU: To promote the presence of Sanskrit language in the society, a training camp (Prashikshan Varg) is being organised by Sanskrit Bharti here at Durga Mandir, Shastri Nagar which was started on 15th June and will culminate on 25th June.

Scores of students hailing from Jammu province have registered themselves to be part of the programme where various activities like Sanskrit Paath, Geeta Paath, Yog Asan, Asan Vyayam and other activities are performed which promotes the presence of Sanskrit. The Varg starts at 5:00 AM in the morning and continues till 10:00 PM.

State Vice President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) as the Chief Guest on the occasion placed his views on Sanskrit language. Sat congratulated the administration of Sanskrit Bharti for their persistent efforts in preserving Indian culture and tradition through propagation of Sanskrit language in today’s youth.

He urged the people to come forward and help in preservation of such a great language in order to contribute for protecting and preservation of heritage and culture of the country.

Among those who graced the occasion include President JK Sanskrit Bharti Rama Shastri, Praant Sangathan Mantri Daleep Shastri, Sat Pal Gupta, Purshottam Shastri, Ashwani Sharma, Rohit Kumar, Tilak Raj, Chander Kumar Sharma, Puran Chander Sharma and Ankush.
