JAMMU: A two days Pravesh course, conducted by the officials of Scouts and Guides concluded in Sai Shyam Public School on Saturday. At least 240 students participated in the programme. The cub-Bulbul and scout and Guide were imparted training by experts. Harcharan Singh pre–ALT (SI) and K.L Sharma (Hqtr Com. Accounts) discussed with the Scouts and Guides, the history of the movement, promise and law, National flag, BSG flag etc, world flag, etc.
The students were also given training in prayers and flag songs.
Kanchan Sharma and Manjeet Kour (Advanced trainer and cub master) imparted training to cubs and Bul-Bul.
Earlier Sarojni Principal of the school welcomed the instructors and appreciated their dedicated efforts while imparting the Pravesh training to the students. She extended her heartfelt thanks to I.D Soni State Commissioner Scouts and Guides for including our school in the programmes conducted by their esteemed Bharat Scouts and Guides.
