JAMMU: Powerlifter Rajan Jain from J and K Sports Powerlifting Association brought laurels to the J and K State by bringing five medals out of six consecutive World Powerlifting Championships held at Las Vegas (USA) from17th-19th October, 2014.
He won gold medal in World Equipped Powerlifting Championship, silver in World Equipped Deadlift Powerlifting Championship and World Unequipped Deadlift Powerliting Championship and bronze in World Equipped Open Bench-Press Powerlifting Championship and World Unequipped Bench-Press Powerlifting Championship.
He also got Team Championship Trophy.
