Power shutdown in Jammu

JAMMU: To carry out development works by M/s IRCON International Ltd under R-APDRP scheme, the power supply to Vikram Chowk, Police Line, University, Gandhi Nagar, PHE and its adjoining areas fed from 11 KV RC-1, RC-2, RC-3, RC-5 and RC-6 feeder shall remain affected on 12th February from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Similarly, the power supply to Industrial Phase-I and II, DC Office Samba, Samba Town, Ghagwal, Rajpura, Banglad, Army, MES, Thalote, Sumb and Goran fed from 132 KV Ckt-I & II Hiranagar-Samba/Samba Grid and Grid Station BB-II shall remain affected on 12th February from 9 AM to 2 PM.
Likewise, the power supply to Grid Station Akhnoor and Kalakote fed from 132 KV S/C Gladni-Kalakot Transmission Line shall remain affected on 13th and 15th February from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Similarly, the power supply to Sidhra, PHE Installation fed from 33 KV Janipur-Sheetli Line shall remain affected on 12th February from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Similarly, the power supply to Lower Roop Nagar, Housing Colony, Chinor, Durga Nagar, Buta Nagar and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Janipur-Roop Nagar Line (BH-I) shall remain affected on 12th February from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Likewise, the power supply to Barnai, Patoli, Muthi, PHE Muthi,BSF Paloura, Top Poloura, MES, Domanaand, Doordarshan and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Janipur-Muthi Line shall remain affected on 12th February from 10 AM to 1 PM. Similarly, the power supply to New Plot, Karan Nagar, New Rehari, Kanak Mandi, Dogra Hall, Partap Garh, Mohalla Paharian and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Janipur-New Sectt. Line shall remain affected on 12th February from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Meanwhile, to carry out development works, the shutdown of 220 KV Salal-Jammu Circuit-II feeder/grid will also being observed from 13th February to 16th February from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Meanwhile, Chief Engineer System and Operation Wing, PDD Kashmir on Thursday said that due to damage of 220kv Double Circuit Kishanpur-Pampore transmission line tower, the import of power to the valley from Northern Grid has got marginally reduced. Consequently, the power supply to the areas being fed from 220/132kv Pampore and Mir-Bazar grid stations shall remain slightly affected till restoration works of transmission line is completed, he added.
