SRINAGAR: Police along with the officials of Revenue and Excise Departments during a drive against contraband cultivation has destroyed poppy cultivation over 60 Kanals of land in Pulwama on Tuesday.
The drive was carried out at Dangerpora and Checki Dangerpora of district Pulwama. During the drive, poppy cultivation spread of 62 Kanals of land was destroyed.
“The drive against the contraband cultivation will continue in future also”, a spokesman of police divulged.
