Polytechnic students give one week ultimate to Govt

JAMMU: Students of government polytechnic on Monday held a protest against the decision of State Board of Technical Education alleging it is not satisfactory.
Protesters under the banner of All Polytechnic Students Association (APSA) assembled in front of Press Club Jammu and raised slogans in favour of their demands. They gave an ultimatum of one week to solve their demands.
“We wanted a fair marks and re-checking of our papers and justice with all the students of Jammu and Kashmir,” they said.
They warned if their demands are not accepted they will come on roads and intensify their agitation.
Earlier, Ayush Bhat was elected as APSA President while Navdeep Sharma Vice President, Amandeep Singh State General Secretary and Hanan Malik as State Secretary.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Arjun, Rahul, Dilpreet, Dalbir, Jaspreet Singh, Shubam Gupta, Sanjana, Tanya Arora, Sonakshi, Arjoya, Gagandeep Kour, Simardeep Suri and Nimit.
