Police solves burglary case, recovers stolen money

JAMMU: Police on Monday solved a burglary case by arresting one person and recovering the stolen money.
According to report, one Ghansham, son of Betha, resident of village Nagwan District Chatarpur MP, at present Chowadi, Sainik Colony found that some unknown persons had broken the door of his Jhuggi and decamped with Rs.20,000 from his room while he was at work. On this, a case FIR No. 28/2017 under Sections 454 and 380 RPC was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation was taken up.
During investigation, one suspect Rajjan son of Aasha Ram, resident of village Gadarpura Tehsil Raj Nagar District Chattarpur MP at present Chowadi Sainik Colony was taken into custody. During sustained questioning, Rajjan confessed his involvement in crime and on his instance stolen money was recovered from his possession.
Timely and strenuous efforts by the Jammu Police solved the case within 24 hours.
