Police solves burglary case

JAMMU: Police on Saturday claimed to have solved a burglary case by arresting two persons and recovering stolen ornament.
According to reports, one Gurmeet Kour wife of Sandeep Singh, resident of Govindpur Kullian on 1st June 2016 lodged a written complaint that on intervening night of 31st May 2016 some unknown persons entered her house and stole a gold necklace by breaking the lock of the almirah.
Acting swiftly police party led by In-charge Police Party Chatta, SI Krishan Raina conducted number of raids and finally nabbed two persons namely Harmandeep Singh son of Baljit Singh, resident of Karan Bagh and Ramanjot Singh son of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Bhour Camp Ward No 01.
During interrogation the duo confessed the crime besides, a gold necklace worth approx Rs 1 lakh was also recovered from their possession. The arrest was made by SI Krishan Raina under the supervision of SHO Police Station Satwari, Insp Manjeet Singh, SDPO Gandhi Nagar, Sachin Gupta and SP City South, Shazad Salaria.
