KUPWARA: A total of 32 teams are taking part in the Cricket Tournament being organised by District Police Kupwara under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at District Sports Stadium, here on Thursday. The tournament was declared open by the Chief Guest, Shamsheer Hussain, SSP Kupwara, who underscored the objectives of organising such programmes. He said that youth should contribute for overall development of this frontier district.
SSP also disclosed that after the culmination of cricket tournament, other sports activities like football and volleyball tournaments will also be organized in a phased manner.
