Police launches drive against traffic offenders

NOWSHERA: Coming down heavily on the traffic rule violators, Nowshera Police picked up all the vehicles wrongly parked in the main market. The stern action by police was taken after repeated warnings to commuters for adhering to traffic norms.
The SHO Nowshera Mohammad Bashir under the supervision of Additional SP Atul Sharma, launched a drive against the traffic rule violators and shifted the vehicles wrongly parked in the main market Nowshera. Besides seizing the wrongly parked vehicles, several Nakas were laid at different places and commuters were Challaned for not carrying valid documents, using mobile phones while driving, driving without seat belts, double pillion riding on two wheelers, driving two wheelers without helmets, etc.
The SHO warned commuters to strictly observe the traffic rules. He said that the vehicles responsible for traffic jam in market will be impounded with heavy fine.
