“Greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Raja Parba. May this festival bring happiness & prosperity in everyone’s life,” Prime Minister Modi said in an official statement.
Raja Parba or Mithuna Sankranti is a four-day-long festival and the second day signifies beginning of the solar month of Mithuna, from which the season of rains starts.
