Placement drive at IECS, North Polytechnic

JAMMU: Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions has organized – One week Placement Drive-2015 at IECS and North Polytechnic at Purkhoo Camp Domana, near here on Monday. This placement drive is being conducted from 11th to 16th May, 2015, in which a large number manufacturing, software, automobile and infra structural companies are participating. The drive is likely to benefit a large number of final semester engineering diploma students studying in various Government/Private Polytechnics in this region.

The drive was inaugurated by Er. Vidhi Singh Jamwal, Chairman cum Managing Trustee of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions. He welcomed the initiative taken by IECS and North Polytechnic in organising this placement drive and hoped that this drive will help the students to fulfill their long cherished dreams.

Earlier, Er. K.G. Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic, welcomed the HR executives from various companies, who have been nice enough to visit the campus to conduct, written tests, group discussions and personal interviews of the students from various institutions hoping that the students will derive maximum benefit from the drive.

Er. Ajay Jamwal, Dean Administration, Training and Placement said that this Placement Drive is culmination of 3 years hard work by faculty and students to shape their future. The students during their studies are made to participate in various student centered activities, debates, seminars and group discussions in addition to usual academic sessions. He informed the audience that a large number of students from both the institutes were selected last year in reputed companies like Harley Davidson, Tata Steel, Wipro, Maruti Udyog, etc.

Er. K.R. Sharma, Principal North Polytechnic, thanked the Executives and HR personnel from various companies for visiting the campus for the placement drive and hoped that maximum number of students from the various institutions get selected. He also advised the students to develop a sense of confidence, discipline, dedication and commitment to their profession.

Deepak Gupta, Manager Uflex Industries, Sanna Rahotra and                   Manisha from Synergy Consultants also spoke on the occasion and hoped that the students from various polytechnics shall get benefited from this placement drive launched by Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions.

Some more companies are going to visit the campus during the next five days. Prominent among three companies are Simula Software, Accenture, Wipro, HCL, TCS Synergy Consultants, recruiters for Hindustan Pencils, Sudhir Gensets,             U-Flex, Pepsi, Coca-cola, Kirloskar (India).
